However, it seems to have backfired. she finally has been standing up for herself, and I guess her husband has decided to notice and has worked on correcting being an asshole and a dick to her, and now it seems she has been receptive to that change and it’s hurting my relationship with her. I guess all I want is for her happiness, wish it wasn’t at my expense, but yeah, sometimes being good to them and telling them to stand up to the bullshit hurts us in the end.
